Despite the modern V-6 powertrain, the 2021 Nissan Frontier looks and feels like the oldest trucks in the country. That’s because it’s 16 years old. However, Nissan has already introduced the next generation and started rolling out the 310-hp 3.8-liter V-6 and 7-speed automatic transmission in the current version. While this engine gives Frontier the ultimate power, its fuel economy is not as impressive as its old and plastic interior, as well as its shortlist of resources. The result is a convenient pickup truck for merchants and good people without the desirable features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and active security technology. Frontier 2021 offers a street-based Pro-4X model, which costs a few thousand dollars less than other similarly armed competitors but is still tied to the bugs mentioned above.

The interior design of the 2021 Nissan Frontier comes straight out in 2005, and its shortlist of options is also out of date. However, the plastic shelter is ideal for retailers and routers. The non-breathable switchgear is destructive but effective and offers direct performance. Too bad no money can get you a steering wheel, excellent front seats, wireless charging, or a warm steering wheel. The Frontier crew cab has a perfect front passenger seat, but the rear cabin of its crew cabin has little compartments, similar to the crowded Toyota Tacoma. Although its two available beds carry smaller than its rivals, the bakkie has plenty of interior space, and our pilot inspection truck holds ten decent seats in the back seat. While its internal storage space is nothing new, Frontier has plenty of storage space. There is a cubby above the middle stack with a large tray under it for these minor things.
All Frontier now features a 3.8-liter V-6 that produces 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The only two-wheel drive is driven by nine alternating gears and can be rear or four rear wheels. We will not know how much this new powertrain will affect the truck’s performance until we test ourselves. However, we do not expect Frontier travel and management to change drastically – in that case.
